(CNN) - Krispy Kreme celebrated its 75th anniversary on Friday.
The pastry shop got its start in Winston-Salem, NC on July 13, 1937.
Since then, it's grown to nearly 700 shops in 21 countries, and 10,000 merchants and grocery stores.
The doughnut company will be celebrating its special day with a deal for customers.
According to the Krispy Kreme website, if you buy a dozen doughnuts at participating locations, you can get a dozen Original Glazed for 75 cents.
