CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The director of Restore Teacher Salaries is fighting back against Gov. Nikki Haley's veto of $10 million for pay raises for teachers.
Patrick Hayes is holding a news conference to talk about how to get more money for South Carolina educators.
Hayes, a West Ashley teacher, will call on lawmakers to override the governor's veto.
The news conference started at 12:30 p.m. at the main library on Calhoun Street.
