Walter Hundley will have to wait till Friday to make it official.CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -
A recount is scheduled for Friday after Republican Walter Hundley narrowly won the District 41 senate seat.
Unofficial numbers show Hundley defeated Democrat Paul Tinkler with 3,112 votes to 3,098. Since the margin of victory is less than one percent, a recount will be done at the Charleston County Election Commission.
A third candidate from the Green Party, Sue Edward, got 53 votes.
