Sheriff's office arrest 2 people in connection to stabbing in Sangaree

BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

Officials with the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office say they have arrested two people in connection to a stabbing at a home in Sangaree Wednesday evening.

Deputies arrested 39-year-old Erik Kenneth King and 29-year-old Mark Allen Rynes. Both suspects were charged with assault and battery in the 1st degree.

Sheriff's deputies were called out to a disturbance at a home on Longleaf Road and found a man with lacerations to his chest. That man was transported to the hospital.

According to authorities, the suspects went before a judge Thursday evening where they both received a $100,000 bond.
