NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Emergency crews put out two fires in North Charleston on Friday. The first fire happened at 8 a.m. at the Dorchester Gardens Apartments on Dorchester Road.
When crews arrived, they saw smoke showing from a two-story apartment complex. Firefighters were quickly able to put the fire out and contain the blaze to one room.
Three were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire was determined to be electrical in nature. Two residents are being assisted by the Red Cross.
The second fire happened around 2:20 p.m. on Park Place East near Park Circle. The fire was contained to one room and the cause was also determined to be electrical.
Authorities say an attentive passerby called in the fire. There were no reported injuries in the fire.
