FOLLY BEACH (WCSC) - Cloudy skies did not stop local fisherman from crowding the Folly Beach Pier Saturday morning in an attempt to bring in the biggest catch.
Folly Beach Fishing Pier hosted a fishing tournament today. The fishing began at 6 a.m. and ran till 4 p.m.
The 1045-foot-long pier was packed with anglers young and old. As part of the tournament, each fisherman was able to use two rods.
The next fishing tournament to take place on the pier will be August 18 for the Big Kahuna Fishing Tournament.
