CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The Citadel is set to plan an independent investigation into how the military college handled its role in the child-sex scandal which rocked the Lowcountry.
The review will focus on how the school handled allegations made in 2007 against former cadet and camp counselor Louis "Skip" Reville.
The 32-year-old is now in prison after pleading guilty to 22 counts of child-sex charges.
Several lawsuits aimed at The Citadel stem from an alleged incident from 2002, when ReVille allegedly watched pornography and masturbated along with two younger campers.
An internal investigation was held, but police were never notified of the incident.
