The Dorchester County coroner has identified the victim and suspect from the murder-suicide incident in The Gables Mobile Home Park of North Charleston.
A 26-year-old man who authorities say shot and killed a 34-year-old woman before taking his own life Tuesday morning was released from jail last month for allegedly assaulting the woman earlier this year.

The coroner has identified a 19-year-old woman from Round O who died after a single-vehicle crash in Dorchester County.
Dorchester County Coroner Chris Nisbet said Alesa "Allie" Murdaugh died from a traumatic brain injury after the wreck Wednesday around 5:30 p.m. on Stokes Bridge Road.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says Murdaugh was driving south when she ran off the road, over-corrected, lost control, and flipped several times.
Troopers say she was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the car. Murdaugh was flown to MUSC, where she died from her injuries.
