Surveillance pictures released of Walgreens robbery suspect

JOHNS ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - The Charleston County Sheriff's Office has released surveillance pictures of a man wanted for a robbery at a Walgreens on Johns Island.

Authorities responded to the robbery on 3621 Savannah Hwy around 8 p.m. on July 22.

Investigators say the suspect entered the store, handed a note and demanded money. The suspect then left the store heading to the rear of the business traveling on Old Charleston Highway.

No weapon was displayed during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male, 6'1", 240 pounds, wearing a blue t-shirt with "Security" written on it, a baseball cap and sunglasses.
