LEXINGTON, S.C. (AP) - A Lexington woman has been charged with taking more than $200,000 from the trucking company where she worked.
Lori M. Caldwell, 39, turned herself in to Lexington County sheriff's deputies late last week.
Caldwell was charged with breach of trust with fraudulent intent involving more than $10,000. She could be sentenced to 10 years in prison if she is convicted.
An arrest warrant says the human resources manager of the company submitted false expense reports for more than four years.
Metts says Caldwell submited ads to trade industry magazines to seek job applicants for the company.
The warrant says Caldwell created false invoices on her company computer, then submitted the invoices for payment.
It was not clear if Caldwell has a lawyer.
