Leonard Blank, Mary Beth Berry, Sam Kernodle and Darren Mullinax have won the four seats on James Island's town council following a special election.

Former mayor Bill Woolsey ran unopposed in Tuesday's election and had 807 votes.

Election results are as follows:

Mary Beth Berry: 506
Marilyn Clifford: 438
Sandi Engelman: 241
Sam Kernodle: 525
Darren Mullinax: 489
Linda Womack: 365
