CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

Charleston Police are looking for 26 year William Lamont Seabrook.

Seabrook stands 6'0" tall and weighs about 185 pounds.

He is wanted on charges of murder and possession of a firearm during a violent crime in connection with the July 14, 2012 shooting.

"At about two o'clock in the morning, Mr. Seabrook met an adversary on the street here at approximately 703 King Street and shot and killed that individual," said Charleston Police Cpl. Fred Bowie.

Bowie said the shooting stemmed an ongoing argument between the two men.

"They had been arguing for a few months back and forth. They know each other well and had some disagreement and just couldn't settle it any other way."

According to the arrest warrants, cops got their big break from someone who witnessed the shooting, and that witness, according to police, identified Seabrook as the shooter in a photo lineup.

"He knows he's wanted. He knows what's going on. He knows the warrant's out there, and he's just going to try to lay low as long as he can," Bowie said.

Seabrook stands 6'0" tall and weighs about 185 pounds.

He goes by the street name 'Cap' and is known to hang out in Charleston and Columbia.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111. You don't have to give your name and may earn a cash reward.
