COLLETON COUNTY (WCSC) - Deputies have arrested two suspects who they say used a commercial delivery company to traffic drugs.

Officials say 38-year-old Patrick John Williams of Newark, N.J. and 40-year-old Nayvone Smith of Walterboro, S.C. were arrested on July 30 for trafficking nearly 10 pounds of marijuana.

An investigation by the Colleton County Sheriff's Office and Walterboro Public Safety's Join Drug Crimes Unit discovered that the two suspects used a commercial parcel delivery company to transport the drugs.

Deputies say the drugs were sent to a residence on Dandridge Road near Walterboro.

According to a report, the delivery company was not a suspect in the drug trafficking.

Both suspects are being held at the Colleton County Detention Center.
