WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - An 18-year-old from Williamsburg County is making a name for himself on BET's Sunday Best.
Joshua Rogers is a top 10 finalist on Sunday Best, the equivalent of American Idol in the gospel music industry.
After singing Vanessa Bell Armstrong's classic, "Peace Be Still" on last week's episode, talent judge Donnie McClurkin praised Roger's performance saying, "What you have hasn't even been seen yet. And the little bit that we're seeing right now? I just couldn't be prouder."
Fresh out of high school, the Greeleyville native has a chance to win a recording contract, a car, and some cash to help his community if he wins the singing competition.
BET's Sunday Best airs Sunday nights at 8 p.m.
