North Charleston robbery suspect bond set at $200,000

NORTH CHARLESTON - (WCSC) -

An armed robbery suspect made his appearance in court Saturday morning where his bond was set at $200,000.

The North Charleston Police Department arrested 20-year-old Danielle Quayshon Branton Friday night after he attempted to rob a man at gunpoint in the Fairmont Mobile Home Park. Branton was later located in a vehicle on Salvo Street in Hanahan.

Hanahan authorities say a gun was also collected from the scene. A K-9 unit was called out to the assist police in searching for the suspect.

The victim told police that the suspect pulled out a handgun and demanded money from him.

Branton is charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
