PGA Championship practice rounds resume following weather delay

KIAWAH ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - Practice rounds at the PGA Championship have resumed after stopping earlier in the day due to inclement weather.
It was the second day in a row where Mother Nature wasn't cooperating with the folks out on Kiawah Island.
Wednesday's forecast calls for scattered thunderstorms with highs in the low 80's.
PGA policy dictates that in the event of a delay, spectators must get off the course. Most chose to huddle under pavilion areas and clubhouses, while others just opted to cut their losses and head out.
While most courses in the United States provide a number of natural shelters, the wide-open nature of The Ocean Course makes it imperative that spectators get off quickly.
On Tuesday, a 65-minute delay in mid-morning was followed by a roughly 15-minute delay just after lunch.
