A trio of search warrants performed Wednesday by the Georgetown Police Department led to the seizure of thousands of dollars in counterfeit items and one arrest.

Police arrested 33-year-old Antoine Quinsander Nelson and charged him with Sale of Goods with Counterfeit Marks, Produce/Reproduce Counterfeit Marks and Illegal Distribution of Recordings.

Nelson was arrested after Georgetown police raided The Ark at 215 Merriman Road and two residences at 2109 and 2113 Winyah Street.

Police say they discovered approximately $14,000 in counterfeit items including shirts, hats, jeans, purses, DVD's and CD's. They also seized $5,000 in cash.

Nelson is being held in the Georgetown County Detention Center. His bond hearing will be held today.
