WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) - Motorists can expect lane closures on Bees Ferry Road overnight this Wednesday and Thursday as Charleston County crews work to install a drainage structure.
One westbound lane will be closed between Sanders Road and Bees Ferry Landfill between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. each night.
Workers will direct traffic through the closure. In the event of inclement weather, work will continue on the next weather-permitting night, except on a Friday or Saturday.
The goal of the project, which is expected to be completed April 2014, is to make improvements to the entire 4.5 mile length of Bees Ferry Road from Savannah Highway to Ashley River Road.
