Thieves boost church's trailer containing nearly $40k worth of equipment


The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office is on the lookout for the people responsible for stealing a church's utility trailer containing nearly $40,000 worth of equipment.

Investigators say a trailer belonging to the Freedom Church was stolen on 591 Rembert C. Dennis Blvd. in Moncks Corner early Monday morning.

The victim's son told deputies that the suspects cut the chain to the gate, went inside the property and took the trailer.

According to the victim, the trailer had audio, lighting and stage equipment worth nearly $40,000.

The victim describes the trailer as a 2010 black enclosed Lark trailer with a double axle and was last seen on Sunday around 2 p.m. The trailer's serial number is 5RTBE142XAD015237 and model number VT714TA.
