CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Investigators say two people wanted by the South Carolina Probation and Parole agency were arrested by authorities.
According to investigators, 24-year-old Charles Nicholas surrendered to authorities on Monday. Nicholas was wanted for a probation violation after being convicted of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature.
Sakinah Blanding, 33, was also arrested on Aug. 2. for a probation violation after being convicted of exploitation of a vulnerable adult at a health care facility.
"She stole the checkbook and the ATM card of an 86 year old resident," said agent Micky Talley. "She decided to go ahead and pay her bills with the money that she stole. She paid her water bill, her mortgage and so forth and this was money that the victim was living off of."
Blanding was found guilty and got probation, but Talley says she stopped reporting to her probation officer in 2009.
Nicholas and Blanding were both featured on Live 5's Most Wanted.
