Police on the lookout for thieves who made off with hotel's dryer

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The North Charleston Police Department is on the lookout for two people who stole a dryer from a hotel Monday afternoon.

Police say the theft took place at hotel off of Ashley Phosphate Road.

An employee told officers that two people had removed a Speed Queen dryer, valued at $1200, from the outside hallway of the hotel.

Surveillance video showed a white male and female removing the dryer and putting it in the rear of an unknown pickup truck.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
