Goose Creek 48, Ashley Ridge 16 (Live 5 GOTW) - Rashard Alston had 4 TD's for the Gators (1-0) and Tramel Terry added 3 TD's as the Gators got an impressive win in Week 1.  The Swamp Foxes (0-1) found the endzone for the first time in three meetings with Goose Creek on a long TD run by Romelo Doctor in the third quarter.

Cane Bay 10, Summerville 3 - Davon Higgins scored in the 4th quarter to put the Cobras (1-0) ahead for good in the first meeting between the two schools. The Green Wave (0-1) got to the Cane Bay 12 yard line but Freshman QB Sawyer Bridges spiked the ball on 4th down to seal the win for the Cobras. John McKissick is still at 594 wins. 

Wando 37, Beaufort 0 - Warriors (2-0) started off hot as Christian Hart connected with Nathaniel Wright on a TD to make it 7-0. Chance Price blocked a punt and returned it 20 yards for another score in the win. 

Stratford 21, Berkeley 0 - Knights move to 1-0, Stags fall to 0-1

Bishop England 30, West Ashley 14 - Nick Theos had an 88 yard TD run in the 3rd quarter to put the Bishops up for good in their first ever win over the Wildcats (0-1).  It was the Battling Bishops' first win in three tries against the AAAA program; Bishop England (1-0) won the AA Division 2 state title last season. 

Woodland 21, Colleton County 7 - The Cougars (0-1) fall in Chris Collins' debut and their losing streak moves to 24 games.  The Wolverines (a AA program) improve to 1-0 with the win over a AAAA school.

Timberland 25, Hanahan 21 - Wolves (2-0) move to 2-0 as Austin McKinney caught 6 passes for 129 yards and 2 TD's.  This is Timberland's 11th straight win over the Hawks (1-1).

James Island 33, St. John's 14 - The Islanders (1-1) led 14-6 at the half, but the Trojans turned things on in the second half to move to 1-1 on the year. 

Baptist Hill 12, Stall 10 - Bobcats move to 2-0 on the year. Dakota Holmes had a 70 yard Kickoff Return for a TD.  The Warriors go to 0-1.

Military Magnet 32, North Charleston 6 - Eagles go to 1-1; Ivan Wiggins had a long TD run at the end of the first quarter to start the scoring.  North Charleston falls to 0-2.

Burke 34, Hunter-Kinard-Tyler 0 - Bulldogs are 0-1.

Cross 41, C.E. Murray 14 - Devante Shepherd had 87 yards rushing on 8 carries with 2 TD's and also blocked a punt for a safety, and teammate Branford Halls added 96 yards and a touchdown on three carries (he also passed for a TD). The Trojans move to 2-0. 

Garrett 56, Lincoln 0 - Quantrell Gadsden returned a punt for a TD and a kickoff for a TD to help the Eagles start the year 1-0.  The Yellow Jackets are 0-2.

Pinewood Prep 28, Northwood Academy 0 - Jarrett Londergan had 27 carries for 281 yards and 3 TD's in the victory for the Panthers (1-0).  The Chargers are 0-1.

Porter-Gaud 54, Ben Lippen 27 - Thomas Rogers threw for 267 yards and 4 TD's and rushed for 116 yards and 2 TD's for the Cyclones (1-0).

Palmetto Christian 32, Williamsburg Academy 21 - The Eagles (1-0)  open 2012 with a home win.

Hilton Head Prep 15, Colleton Prep 14 - The Warhawks fall to 1-1.

Dorchester Academy 38, Oakbrook Prep 26 - The Raiders are 2-0 on the season.

 

Saturday 7:30pm

Fort Dorchester 41 Carolina Forest 21 - Daitwan Commodore rushed for 142 yards and a TD while Baptiste Staggers was 7-10 for 151 yards and 2 TD's through the air while adding 2 more TD's on the ground.
