NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -
One person was shot and killed Saturday night in the 4000 block of St. Johns Avenue in North Charleston, authorities say.
North Charleston Police Department officers responded to a report of gunshots fired around 9:30 p.m. When officers arrived at the scene they found a male victim lying off the road beside a bicycle.
The Charleston County Coroner's office has identified the victim as 26-year-old Devin Smalls. Smalls died as a result of a gunshot wound.
Detectives say there's no information on the suspect in this shooting and the investigation is still ongoing.
