Australian airline canceling orders for Boeing Dreamliners

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - An Australian airline is canceling 35 orders for Boeing Dreamliners. Quantas says it need to cut expenses.

The company says it will still purchase 15 of the 787-8 models which is a little smaller than the 787-9 model.

There are five Dreamliners at Boeing in North Charleston.

Two aren't painted yet, the other three are waiting to be picked up by Air India.
