Mother confirms body found in forest is of her missing daughter

BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The mother of missing teen Dana Marie Woods confirmed Wednesday the body of her daughter was found in the Francis Marion Forest on Tuesday.

Jennifer Hill, the mother of the 18-year-old, said Berkeley County Sheriff's Office investigators informed her early Wednesday that Woods' body was found her charred Chevrolet Metro about a mile off Cane Gully Road, near Cordsville.

Berkeley County Sheriff's Office investigators are still looking for 22-year-old June Guerry, last seen with Woods on Sunday night at a home in Pinopolis.

Guerry stands 5'4" and weighs about 140 pounds. She has auburn hair and blue eyes.
