BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - A candlelight vigil will take place Friday night for 22-year-old June Guerry, whose body was found in the Francis Marion Forest this week.
Organizers plan to have the vigil at Unity Park in Moncks Corner at 8:30 p.m.
On Thursday, the coroner's office confirmed that another body found shot to death in the forest on Wednesday was Guerry, who was last seen with Dana Marie Woods on Sunday night at a home in Pinopolis.
The coroner confirmed early Wednesday morning, that Woods' body was found shot about 75 yards from her charred car in the Francis Marion Forest in Cordesville.
Authorities are continuing the investigation.
