COLLETON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

Colleton Country sheriff's deputies arrested three men Thursday after deputies discovered they were in possession of a stolen safe and burglary tools.

Vashon Calrissin Coine, 29, Schylar Jabari Morgan, 31, and Arthur Lee Smalls, 20, were charged with possession of burglary tools, and deputies say charges will be added for possession of stolen property.

According to a report, deputies noticed the three suspects and two vehicles on the side of the road on Ace Basin Parkway in Colleton County. When deputies stopped to check on the suspects, they discovered the three men had burglary tools.

The reports states that the vehicles were then searched, and an unopened safe was found in the truck of one of the cars.

Berkeley County Sheriff's Office reported there was a break-in at a convenience store the night of August 29 and a safe was stolen. Detectives said the safe combination provided by the store matched the combination of the stolen safe.

For two of the suspects, this is not their first time involved in a burglary.

According to a report, Morgan and Smith were out on bond in Beaufort Country for possession of burglary tools when they were captured.
