Lowcountry wildlife artist passes away

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Lowcountry wildlife artist Anne Worsham Richardson Paszek has died.

She was born in Clarendon County in 1922. In 1991, she was inducted into the South Carolina Hall of Fame.

She got attention from presidents Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan and one of her paintings hangs in the state house in Columbia.

Her work hangs in a gallery downtown on Church Street.
