SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) - Dorchester County sheriff's deputies are searching for two men who they say robbed a Little Caesars at gunpoint as employees were closing up for the night.
According to a report, employees were locking the doors at Little Caesars located at 1001 Bacons Bridge Road around 10:25 p.m. Wednesday night when two suspects armed with handguns appeared and demanded money.
Deputies say one of the gunmen collected money, keys and cell phones from four victims outside the pizza joint, while the other suspect forced an employee back inside to collect money from the safe.
The suspects then fled the scene on foot, running towards the back of the store.
Victims and witnesses describe the suspects as black males, between 18 and 22 years old, and approximately 6'0" to 6'2" in height. Both males were wearing all black, including black bandanas to cover their faces.
A K-9 from the Summerville Police Department was used to track the suspects, but lost their scent in a nearby Bi-Lo parking lot.
No one was injured during the armed robbery.
