NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Police are looking for a homeless North Charleston man after they say he stabbed a cab driver in the neck Thursday night.

According to a North Charleston Police Department incident report, the cab driver picked up the suspect, 36-year-old Bobby Thomas Luntsford, outside Patrick's Pub in West Ashley and drove him to the North Bluff Apartments on St. Ives Road.

The victim said as they arrived, Luntsford told him to take him to Arby's on Greenridge Road. Once there, the victim said he asked Lunstford for money, and was then stabbed in the neck.  Luntsford then got out of the cab and ran away, the victim said.

The cab driver then went to the parking lot of Dial America where he called police. The report states the cab driver was holding a rag to the left side of his neck and had a large amount of blood on his t-shirt.

If you have any information regarding Luntsford's whereabouts, call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
