Brett Gardner, OF, NY Yankees – 60-Day DL with a sore right elbow. The Holly Hill native underwent arthroscopic surgery and should miss the rest of the season. He played 9 games batting .321 with 2 RBI and 2 SB's

Matt Wieters, C, Baltimore Orioles – 0-4 in an 8-5 loss to the Yankees. The Stratford alum is batting .238 with 19 HR's, 70 RBI

Justin Smoak, 1B, Seattle Mariners – 0-3 with a walk in a 6-1 loss to Oakland. The Goose Creek native is batting .191 with 14 HR's and 41 RBI in the Majors and .242 with 4 RBI in Triple-A.

Justin Greene, OF, Charlotte (Chicago White Sox) - The Stratford alum's season is over.

Triple-A: Batted .238 in 56 games with 6 HR's, 25 RBI and 12 stolen bases.

Double-A: Batted .281 in 39 games with 2 HR's, 13 RBI and 14 stolen bases. 

Mike Cisco, P, Lehigh Valley (Philadelphia Phillies) – The Wando alum's season is over.

Chris McGuiness, 1B, Frisco (Texas Rangers) – 2-3 with an RBI, a walk and a K in a 5-0 win over Corpus Christi in game 3 of their playoff series giving them a 3-0 sweep of the series.

Double-A: Batted .268 with 23 HR's and 77 RBI 

Asher Wojciechowski, P, Corpus Christi (Houston Astros) – Did not pitch in a 5-0 loss to Frisco in game 3 of their playoff series. The team was swept and their season is over.  

Double-A: Went 2-2 with a 2.06 ERA and 34 K's in 43.2 IP.

High Single-A: Went 7-3 with a 3.57 ERA and 76 K's in 93.1 IP
