THURSDAY

Wando 24,  Summerville 14 - The Warriors got their first regular season win over the Green Wave in 16 tries as Christian Hart was 19-34 passing for 232 yards and 2 TD's in the victory. Summerville got on the board first with a 40 yd TD run from Davon Anderson to make it 7-0. From there, Wando took over the first half. Casey Clawson had a pair of field goals and Hart threw his 2 TD passes to Rudder Brown and Kenny Waring to put them up for good. The Green Wave fall to 1-3, something that hasn't happened in at least 5 decades. The Warriors move to 5-0 for the first time since 1990. 

 

FRIDAY

Goose Creek 56, Fort Dorchester 14 (Live 5 Game of the Week) - The Gators (4-0) got five touchdowns from Tramel Terry to remain perfect on the season.  The Patriots, who got a 72-yard TD catch from T.J. Smith, are now 2-2.

Stratford 56, Ashley Ridge 21 - The Knights (4-0) got revenge for last year's state quarterfinal loss to the Swamp Foxes (1-3).

Cane Bay 28, Beaufort 20 - The Cobras (3-1) win their first-ever meeting with the Eagles (2-2).  Tracy Gilliard returned an interception for a touchdown in the victory.

West Ashley 8, Colleton County 6 - The Wildcats (1-3) survived on the road, and stretch the Cougars' (0-4) losing streak to 27 games.

Hanahan 34, Edisto 0 - The Hawks (3-1) returned to action after the bye week with a convincing shutout.  Brian Ford returned an interception for a touchdown; the game was delayed 25 minutes at the end of third quarter when a transformer blew, and knocked out power at Wiley Knight Stadium.

Bluffton 50, James Island 10 - The Trojans are 2-3 on the season.

Manning 17, Berkeley 7 - The Stags (0-4) continue to struggle.

Bishop England 42, Academic Magnet 0 - The Battling Bishops (3-1, 1-0) opened Region 6-AA play with a shutout of the Raptors (3-1, 0-1).

Woodland 55, North Charleston 6 - The Wolverines (3-1, 1-0) have no trouble with the Cougars (0-4, 0-1) in the league opener.

Battery Creek 39, Garrett 18 - The Falcons (2-2, 0-1) fell in their region opener; it is the Dolphins' (1-3, 1-0) first win of the season.

Military Magnet 42, Stall 27 - The Eagles (2-3) rallied from a 14-0 second quarter deficit to stun the Warriors (1-3).

Ridgeland 33, Burke 12 - The Bulldogs are 1-3, 0-1 in Region 6-AA.

Charlotte Latin 28, Baptist Hill 21 - The Bobcats are 2-2 on the season after falling to a team from North Carolina.

Cross 53, St. James 40 - The Trojans (4-1) outscore the Sharks on the road as Dionte Evans ran for 133 yards and two touchdowns.

Orangeburg Prep 15, Porter-Gaud 14 - The Cyclones (2-2) lost despite 196 yards on 20 carries from Trey Pierce.  Porter-Gaud led 14-3 in the 2nd quarter.

Cardinal Newman 42, Pinewood Prep 7 - The Panthers are 1-3.

Hilton Head Christian 53, Northwood Academy 37 - The Chargers put up a lot of points, but fall to 0-4.

Palmetto Christian 46, Hilton Head Prep 32 - J.T. Waters led the Eagles (3-1)  with 258 yards rushing and five touchdowns.

Colleton Prep 42, Holly Hill Academy 21 - The War Hawks are now 3-2, 1-0 in SCISA Region 2-A.

Bible Baptist 48, Dorchester Academy 20 - The Raiders fall on the road.
