CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - A man accused of wearing a Frankenstein mask as he robbed four Charlotte gas stations is behind bars.

Police say Eric Christopher Orr hit all four stations in one and a half hours, on his birthday.

Surveillance video captured Orr in action Thursday.

Officers say they originally charged Orr with driving a stolen car and then realized he matched the description of the robber.

Police say he robbed gas stations on Mallard Creek Road, Harris Boulevard, The Plaza and Albemarle Road.
