MT. PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - Road crews will ramp up the work on Highway 17 in Mt. Pleasant this week.
As a part of the Johnnie Dodds Boulevard Improvements Project, motorists on McGrath Darby Boulevard will only be able to make right turns onto Johnnie Dodds Boulevard, starting at 11 p.m. Monday.
Motorists driving on Johnnie Dodds Boulevard will still be able to make left or right turns onto McGrath Darby Boulevard.
Nighttime work returns up the road a little ways as well on Monday, as the westbound lane on Hungryneck Boulevard is set to close from Venning Road to Johnnie Dodds Boulevard. That closure starts at 9 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and runs through 6 a.m. the following morning.
Then, starting on Thursday, Johnnie Dodds Boulevard will be completely closed off at Hungryneck Boulevard for several hours each night, through the weekend.
