$10k lottery ticket purchased in West Ashley set to expire

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Three Mega Millions winning tickets are set to expire this month, and one ticket was purchased right here in the Lowcountry.

A Mega Millions ticket worth $10,000 was purchased from the Northbridge Exxon at 1140 Sam Rittenberg Blvd. in March. The ticket was for the Friday, March 30 drawing.

The winning ticket must be claimed at the Columbia Claims Center before 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26.

The numbers in the March 30 drawing were 2, 4, 23, 38, 46, Megaball 23, and Megaplier 3. The winning ticket matched four white ball numbers and the gold Megaball number.

Two other tickets that were purchased in South Carolina for the same drawing also won $10,000. The tickets were purchased at the Kangaroo Express at 100 Shelby Hwy. in Gaffney and the Citgo at 4650 Broad St. in Sumter.

If the prizes are not claimed, the winnings will be deposited in the Education Lottery Account to go towards educational programs in South Carolina.
