BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The murder of a Conway man stemmed from a robbery attempt, according to the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office.

18-year-old Joshua Michael Pruitt and 22-year-old Patrick Dwayne Kinloch, are charged with fatally shooting Robert Lamar Moultrie, 31.  His body was found inside of a vehicle in the Francis Marion National Forest last week.

An arrest warrant alleges that on September 9th, Pruitt and Kinloch shot and killed Moultrie at 1020 Charity Church Road in Huger, after conspiring to rob him.

Moultrie's body was found two days later at a location along Brick Church Road, about 4 miles away from the original crime scene.

Pruitt was arrested Thursday at his home on Cainhoy Road, and Kinloch was apprehended in Florida Friday morning.

In bond court, a judge denied bond to Pruitt.  The charge of murder has been bound over to trial.  Kinloch awaits extradition back to South Carolina.
