GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

A judge set bond at $50,000 for a Florida man who faces online child sex charges after deputies say he was caught contacting as many as 40 young females, some of whom live in Georgetown County.

Deputies arrested 32-year-old Justin Slavinski earlier this week after he allegedly sent sexual messages online to as many as 40 girls. He was then extradited from Florida to the Georgetown County Detention Center.

Slavinski is charged with one count of criminal solicitation of a minor and three counts of dissemination of obscene material to a minor in Georgetown County. Deputies say they also found child porn on his home computer in Florida.

Florida Department of Law Enforcement officials executed a search warrant at Slavinski's Apopka, Fla. residence this week and found the man had sent 27,000 instant messages throughout Florida and other states over the internet.

Investigators also found numerous photographs depicting child pornography. The investigation began when the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office Internet Crime Unit caught Slavinski contacting girls in South Carolina.
