PICKENS COUNTY, SC (WYFF) -
Authorities arrested two Pickens County district employees on drug charges.
Easley police said Kimberly Dawn Anthony, 43, and Daniel John Fahey, 48, were arrested at about 7 p.m. Friday following an investigation that had taken place over the last few weeks.
Police said officers also searched Anthony's home on Roper Street.
Police said Anthony, a Pickens County school teacher, is charged with two counts of distribution of marijuana, two counts of distribution of marijuana within proximity of a school, two counts of distribution of a controlled substance, two counts of distribution of a controlled substance within proximity of a school, possession with the intent to distribute controlled substance and possession with the intent to distribute marijuana within proximity of a school.
Meanwhile, police said Fahey is also facing charges of distribution of marijuana, distribution of marijuana within proximity of a school, distribution of a controlled substance, distribution of controlled substance within proximity of a school, possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, possession with the intent to distribute controlled substance and possession with the intent to distribute marijuana within proximity of a school.
School district officials along with police said that the investigation did not reveal any evidence showing the accused employees sold to students.
Police said Kimberly is being held on $250,000 bond, while Fahey is being held on $150,000 bond.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
