A number of wrecks in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 26 in North Charleston snarled traffic for commuters headed into Charleston on Wednesday morning.
Starting around 7 a.m., the wrecks were reported between US Highway 17 Alt., which is exit 199, and Aviation Avenue, which is exit 211.
Traffic Reporter Kim Staley said 10 miles of bumper-to-bumper traffic was backed up to the Midland Park overpass for over an hour.
No injuries have been reported from the wrecks.
