NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Three teens were arrested early Saturday morning after North Charleston police say they robbed a man at gunpoint who was walking his dog.

According to the incident report, the victim was walking his dog on Parliament Drive when he was approached by two young men who asked to use his cell phone. When the man offered to dial the number for them, the report states one of the suspects pressed a revolver to the man's back and told him to give up his cell phone.

The victim said he gave up the phone and the two suspects ran to Wales Court and hopped in a grey Pontiac Grand Prix, which was spotted by officers a short time later at the CVS located at Ashley Phosphate and Dorchester roads.

Police officers said they saw three suspects walk out of the store towards the Grand Prix.

Officers apprehended them and the suspects were later identified by the victim and a witness as the three involved in the armed robbery of the cell phone.

Devonte Stafford, 19, 18-year-old Derrick Givens, and 18-year-old Tray Small were charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
