Cops charge man for Bogard St. burglary

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Police arrested a man Tuesday accused of burglarizing a Bogard Street apartment in September.

Charleston police spokesman Charles Francis said Wednesday 51-year-old Barry Keith Combs entered the apartment through a window on Sept. 19 and stole a laptop computer, credit cards, and a driver's license.

Combs, who police say was already on probation for breaking and entering, is now charged with first-degree burglary.

The investigation is going, Francis added.
