ST. STEPHEN, SC (WCSC) - Two people in St. Stephen are facing charges after deputies discovered a meth lab at home where two children lived, authorities say.

Dan Moon, spokesman for the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office, said 35-year-old Tonia Crane and 36-year-old Curtis Rogers are charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, and two counts of exposing a child to methamphetamine.

Moon said deputies went to 1089 Heaven Drive Wednesday after they received a tip about a possible meth lab.

According to a release, deputies found a small amount of meth, marijuana, and several components of a meth lab.

Both Crane and Rogers were taken to the Hill-Finklea Detention Center, where they await bond hearings.

Moon said the children, aged 10 and 11, were taken by the Department of Social Services and placed with another family member.
