NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

Officials with the North Charleston Police Department say they have reopened roads near the Super K-Mart on Rivers Avenue following a bomb threat.

Authorities responded to the department store on 8750 Rivers Avenue after a bomb threat was called in Thursday afternoon.

Police say a package stuffed with clothing was found, but no bomb.

The department store had been evacuated and surrounding streets were shut down during the investigation.

Police are continuing the investigation.
