Suspected drug dealers rounded up in Mt. Pleasant investigation

MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - Investigators have arrested three suspected drug dealers and are looking for another following a drug investigation in three neighborhoods in Mount Pleasant.

The arrests are a result of a six month long joint investigation between the Charleston County Sheriff's Office, the Mount Pleasant Police Department and the ATF. The investigation involved the areas of "Ten Mile," Whitehall Terrance and Copahee neighborhoods of Mount Pleasant.

The sheriff's office is still looking for 26-year-old Terry Clarida wanted on active warrants out of Charleston County and Mount Pleasant for distribution of cocaine base and distribution of heroin.

Clarida is currently on probation for drug charges and is known to frequent the "Ten Mile" area, Theodore Road and "The Shack" on Highway 17 North.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Terry Clarida is asked to call the Charleston County Sheriff's Office at (843) 202-1700 or Crime Stoppers at (843) 554-1111.

The following people were arrested in the investigation:

Christopher D. Wilkes, 22, was charged with two counts of distribution of marijuana, distribution of cocaine and distribution of cocaine base. Wilkes was given a surety bond of $300,000.

Ivan Filmore Green, 25, was charged with distribution of cocaine base.

James Curtis Manigault, 25, was charged with distribution of a cocaine imitation substance, distribution of marijuana and three counts of distribution of cocaine base.
