THURSDAY

Hanahan 30  James Island 10: The Hawks won their 6th game in a row and improved to 7-1 on the year (3-0 in Region 8-AAA). Octavius Hayes had 88 yards and 2 TD's. The Trojans fall to 3-5, 1-2. 

 

FRIDAY

SCHSL AAAA

Goose Creek 55, Cane Bay 0 (Live 5 Game of the Week) - The Gators (8-0, 1-0 in Region 7-AAAA) ran past the Cobras (5-3, 0-2) in a nationally-televised game on ESPN U.   Caleb Kinlaw ran for 185 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries; Rico Blanding added 91 yards rushing and touchdown, and Tramel Terry picked up 77 yards and two touchdowns on four carries, along with 73 yards receiving and a touchdown on six catches.  Dantez Bennamon was 10-13 passing for 100 yards and two touchdowns.

Summerville 45, Beaufort 28

Bluffton 37, Ashley Ridge 20

Fort Dorchester 42, Colleton County 7 - The Patriots (4-4, 1-1 in Region 8-AAAA) handed the Cougars (0-8, 0-2) their 31st straight loss.  Charles Loftland ran for three touchdowns in the win.

Conway 56, West Ashley 45

  

SCHSL AAA

Berkeley 55, Stall 7 - The Stags (2-6, 1-2) won their first game in Region 8-AAA play.  The Warriors fall to 2-6, 0-3.

Bishop England 49, Garrett 0

Woodland 51, Ridgeland 12

Academic Magnet 48, Burke 28 - The Raptors (5-3, 2-3) locked up their first-ever five-win season.  The Bulldogs are 1-7, 0-5

Battery Creek 43, North Charleston 0

Timberland 42, Lake Marion 0 - Adam June ran for 81 yards and three touchdowns as the Wolves (7-1, 3-0) remained perfect in Region 7-AA play.

  

SCHSL A

St. John's 22, Military Magnet 16 - The Islanders (5-3, 2-1) remain in the Region 6-A title hunt.  The Eagles are now 2-6, 0-2

Cross 52, Lincoln 0 - The Trojans (7-2, 2-1) got 114 yards and a touchdown from Olin Pinckney.  The Yellow Jackets are 0-8, 0-3.

 

SCISA

Porter-Gaud 42, Cardinal Newman 35 - Thomas Rogers ran for 240 yards, and the Cyclones (3-5, 2-5 in SCISA AAA) scored the go-ahead touchdown with 42 seconds left in the game to end a five-game losing streak.
