MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (AP) - Donna Pratt wasn't sure what to think when officials at Patriots Point on the South Carolina coast approached her about dedicating a refurbished H-3 helicopter to the memory of her husband.

She says she worried it would reopen wounds from Vietnam. But now says she's glad because the chopper now serves as a legacy to her husband and what he did.

The name James Pratt is 1 of 5 on the side of the helicopter dedicated Friday during ceremonies on the flight deck of the USS Yorktown. Pratt was a member of the only Yorktown chopper crew lost during Vietnam.

The H-3 was a Navy workhorse during Vietnam and it also helped recover astronauts at sea during the early days of the space program.
