SPARTANBURG, SC (WYFF) - A Spartanburg man who said he was hanging out in a cemetery to try and see a ghost, was arrested on a drug charge, according to an incident report.

An officer said he saw three men in the back area of the Oakwood Cemetery on Saturday night.

According to the report, the men told the officer they were at the cemetery to see a ghost.

The officer said he noticed the men had alcoholic beverages in the truck and asked if the owner had any objections to him looking into the truck.

The truck owner, Marvin Willis, told the officer he could look inside the truck, the report said.

The officer said he noticed a clear bottle with blue rock like substances inside. He said he also saw several containers and loose matches.

The officer then searched Willis and found a plastic container inside his pants.

According to the report, when the officer asked Willis what the container was Willis said ,"You got it, it's dope."

Willis told the officer it was meth and the materials in the truck were meth- making materials, the report said.

Willis was arrested and taken to the Spartanburg County Detention Center.

The report said warrants will be sought for manufacturing meth.
