Local hospitals take to the dance floor for a good cause

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the staff at three local hospitals are strutting their stuff to help the cause.

MUSC, Trident and Colleton Medical Center have submitted music videos for the Pink Glove Dance contest.

The project honors cancer survivors and raises awareness about breast cancer.

At MUSC, hundreds of employees put on pink gloves and danced to Katy Perry's Part of Me.

At Trident, the staff danced to "Evacuate the Dancefloor" in hopes of winning the $10,000 prize. At Colleton medical, they danced and had fun to Part of Me.

You can vote for your favorite video at www.pinkglovedance.com

Voting for the Pink Glove Dance runs through Oct. 26.
