SPARTANBURG COUNTY, SC (WYFF) - A woman was arrested early Tuesday after she pistol-whipped three women and kidnapped one of them at gunpoint, according to the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said they were called to a home on Anchor Street just after 1 a.m. by a woman who said that 34-year-old Sae Jae Ellis kicked in the front door of the home and attacked her and two other women who were asleep in the home.

The caller said that Ellis hit her in the face with a pistol and then pointed it at her before she attacked another woman in the home, and then pistol-whipped 20-year-old Amber Smith and forced her out of the house at gunpoint.

The police report said that Ellis was accompanied by 22-year-old James Shields during the home invasion, and another man who drove the car they left in.

Smith said after she was abducted, Ellis repeatedly told her she was going to "die tonight."  She said a second man she knows only by the name Max drove the car.  She said Max dropped off her, Smith and Ellis, and they used another car to go to the Hidden Park Apartments on Spruce Street.

Deputies went to Ellis' last known address and found Ellis, Shields and Smith in a car at the Hidden Park Apartments.   Deputies arrested Ellis and Shields.

Ellis and Shields are charged with kidnapping.  Ellis is also charged with three counts of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature.
