Live 5 Most Wanted fugitive caught in Horry County

Investigators say a 30-year-old man wanted by Charleston police was captured in Surfside Beach on Monday.

Antonio Woods was wanted on a charge of criminal domestic violence second offense in connection with a June 24, 2012 incident.

"Some type of argument ensued and basically he threatened her life," said Corporal Fred Bowie. "Had to be terrified. She ran from the apartment, hid out for awhile until she thought he was gone. Went back in the apartment and locked herself in there."

Bowie said Woods wasn't gone.

"He approached the apartment again and began banging on the door."

Woods got away before officers got there and hasn't been seen since.

"She has several orders of protection against him. Seems to be an anger management situation that he just can't control," Bowie said.

Woods has a very long rap sheet. He's also wanted by North Charleston Police on charges of criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature.
